Pressing Pause This Week (And Why That’s Okay)
Sometimes the best next step in a health or faith journey isn’t doing more — it’s allowing yourself to rest.
This week, I’ve needed to practice what I often encourage: stepping back, catching my breath, and tending to my own well-being behind the scenes. Building Life More has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done, but it also takes energy — and I want to show up here with a full heart, not an empty cup.
So instead of a full post today, I want to leave you with this gentle reminder: pausing doesn’t mean quitting. It’s often where the deepest growth happens.
While I recharge, here are a few posts from the journal you might revisit if you’re needing encouragement too:
Why You’re Always Tired (and What Real Rest Actually Looks Like) – explores why exhaustion lingers and how to find true restorative rest.
You’re More Than What You Do: Remembering the Creative Woman Within – a reminder that your worth isn’t tied to productivity and how to nurture creativity again.
The Sugar Craving Wasn’t About Sugar – dives into the emotional roots of cravings and how grace can transform your wellness journey.
I’ll be back next week with fresh reflections (hint: we’re talking about soft living and ambition). Until then, I hope you give yourself permission to rest where you need it most.
